Matthew is a licensed Architect with over 18 years of experience in project design and construction.  In that time, he has worked as an Architect and Project Manager in Architectural firms, in General Contracting companies, and national Real Estate Development companies.  This breadth of experience gives him a unique understanding and perspective of all facets of project execution, from feasibility and entitlements all the way through construction and occupancy.

As Rocky Mountain’s Director of Design and Construction, Matthew is involved in projects from their inception to completion.  He is responsible for assisting in the land acquisition process of site selection and due diligence.  He facilitates applications to governmental agencies for approval, coordinates the evaluation and selection of design groups and contractors, develops preliminary plans and budgets, and acts as Owner’s Representative on construction in the field to ensure projects meet and exceed our clients’ expectations.  He is also responsible for reviewing and approving project expenditures, preparing monthly funding requests with lending institutions, and negotiating with general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure the best price and quality product. Matthew also assists the Property Management Team to provide conceptual plans and budgets for potential tenant improvements, as well as building operations and maintenance.
